DIRECTIONS FOR FROZEN PIEROGI:
- FILL A LARGE POT WITH WATER ADD SOME SALT AND A FEW DROPS OF OIL AND BRING TO BOIL ON HIGH HEAT.
- ONCE WATER IS BOILED ADD THE PIEROGI.
- STIR OCCASIONALLY SO THEY DON’T STICK TOGETHER OR THE BOTTOM OF POT. PIEROGI WILL START TO FLOAT TO THE TOP.
- ONCE ALL PIEROGI ARE FLOATING COOK FOR 8 – 10 MINUTES.
IN THE MEAN TIME FINELY DICE A YELLOW ONION AND SAUTEE WITH OIL IN A PAN UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
ONCE PIEROGI ARE DONE COOKING, PLACE THEM IN A SERVING BOWL OR PLATE AND MIX TOGETHER WITH THE SAUTEED ONIONS AND OIL FROM THE PAN. THIS WILL PREVENT THEM FROM STICKING.
